Ultrasonic cleaning is a precision cleaning method.
The Ultrasonic tanks contain transducers which, when place in liquid creates an Ultrasonic wave.
This wave produces an oscillating ultrasonic freqeuency which creates compression in the liquid.
The compression forces the liquid to implode into millions of microscopic bubbles.
These bubbles (under the pressure of the ultrasonic energy), then collaspe. This motion coupled with the microscopic size of the bubbles allows the liquid to get into every area of a component and effectively dislodge contaminants.
Ultrasonic cleaning is excellent at removing polishing oxides, surface grease, build up inside tubes, dust, and other contaminant residues.
It can get into the areas of components that other cleaning methods sometimes finds impossible, such as screw threads, hinges, serrated edges, microelectrical parts and valves.
